One more show up for a review!
Saw Little Night Music with CZJ and Angela Lansbury.
CZJ was good, but I think she's too young and too pretty to be Desirée. Her Tony win was totally unjustified, but even worse wad the non-nomination of Bebe Neuwirth.
Angela Lansbury was DIVINE, but then again, when isn't she divine?!? Saw "PP" and, no matter how many Tonys Angela has, Katie didn't deserve to win over her.
Alexander Hanson deserved a nomination as much as Nathan Lane. The guy is amazingly funny and equally dramatic.
Anyway, it was a very well spent money.

 Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to talk about The Addams Family musical.
I know all the reviews were basically awful, but I saw the play and loved it!
It's not a musical with a deeper meaning or anything, but it's entertaining, and sometimes that's exactly what the doctor prescribed.
Nathan Lane is wonderful as Gomez and Bebe Neuwirth is right up there with him.
The rest of the cast is absolutely amazing, with highlights from Kevin Chamberlain, Krysta Rodriguez and Jackie Hoffman.
Anyway, the box office from Addams Family speaks for itself. It has consistently played to 100% capacity and grossed third only to Wicked and The Lion King each week since it opened in previews and the show had $851,000 in ticket sales on top of a $15 million advance sale the weekend following its opening.
I just have one thing to say: SUCK IT, CRITICS!

 OK, so I went to NYC in may, but since I just decided to re-start posting thing here, I'm going to talk about the musicals I saw!
First one is "Promises, Promises!"
As much as I love Sean Hayes and Kristin Chennoweth, this particular revival didn't actually catch my heart.
It was good, don't get me wrong, but I sincerely can't understand why Sean was nominated. Nathan deserved that nomination.
The choreography was very good, that one really deserved the Tony.
As for Kristin... Dear, I love you, but it just wasn't enough to capture me. She sings divinely, but her performance was below average.
The scenario was nice, but nothing much.
All in all, I don't think it was so worth my dollars, even with the star power they have.

OK, I know it's been ages since I've posted here, but I have to tell you about the dream I had last night.
I dreamed I was younger (somewhere around 18/19) and went to France with my mom for a business meeting she had to go.
There I met a man, a lot older than me and married. (but I never got to meet his wife)
Anyway, he was the owner of some big company, a very distinct man, practically a Lord. When my mom introduced us He greeted me in french and I answered, but said I didn't speak much french and he offered to pay for me to learn.
He was an amazing man, I think a year or two went by, I learned how to speak french fluently (and my french is pretty decent right now), learned horsemanship... I learned how to be a proper lady.
In the meantime something developed between the man and I.
We were in love but I knew we couldn't be together. He was married, and one of the things that made me fall in love with him was his sense of propriety.
Anyway, the dream ended with us discussing in french that we couldn't be together and with him saying he would leave his wife to be with me.


Please, tell me why even in my dreams my love life is so complicated...
